CIB sees higher consolidated net profits at EGP 62.1bn in 9M-25

Cairo – Mubasher: The Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) logged consolidated net profits amounting to EGP 62.10 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, versus EGP 42.34 billion in 9M-24.

The basic earnings per share hiked to 18.54 in 9M-25 from EGP 12.50 a year earlier, according to the financial results.

Net interest income amounted to EGP 78.65 billion in the January-September 2025 period, down year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 65.68 billion.

Standalone Financials

As of 30 September 2025, the standalone net profits after tax reached EGP 62.20 billion, compared to EGP 42.55 billion in the year-ago period

Non-consolidated net interest income valued at EGP 78.35 billion in 9M-25, higher year-on-year (YoY) than EGP 65.52 billion.

Quarterly Results

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, the ender generated consolidated net profits after tax totaling EGP 28.75 billion, up YoY from EGP 14.80 billion.

The net interest income jumped to EGP 27.31 billion in July-September 2025 from EGP 24.14 billion in Q3-24.

Standalone net profits after tax hiked to EGP 28.79 billion in Q3-25 from EGP 14.87 billion in Q3-24, while the net income enlarged to EGP 27.20 billion from EGP 24.08 billion.

During the first half (H1) of 2025, the consolidated net profits after tax reached EGP 33.34 billion.
